Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
Your BAH will be used in one of two ways. You can either rent on base or you can live off base. If you live off base, you can either rent or buy. Click Here for current BAH rates.
On Base Housing ( Rent On-Base )
You can contact the housing office at 228-376-8611. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on Base housing to include wait times.

Keesler Air Force Base is home to the 81st training wing which provides technical training for airmen immediately following basic training. Continued education and refresher courses are also provided to keep pilots up to date with current duty assignments. Keesler Air Force Base is located in Mississippi near Biloxi and is one of the largest technical training facilities in the Air Force. Keesler is currently in the process of creating the largest housing project in the Air Force with just under 2,000 housing units available. Upon arrival, check in at the Housing Referral Office or call 228-377-9741 to find out if a waiting list exists for single-family dwellings with two, three and four bedrooms. If military personnel are unaccompanied, then dorm rooms will be provided based on rank. The Consolidated Dormitory Management Office handles all unaccompanied housing and is located by Gate 3 on 200 Larcher Blvd, Building 4904, Room 127.
The school year for schools along the Mississippi coast runs from mid-August to the end of May. The Airman and Family Readiness Center offers school guides which give parents an overview of the educational opportunities available. There are numerous public and private elementary, middle and high schools to choose from. The Biloxi school superintendent can help with specific questions and can be reached at 228-374-1810. Bus transportation is provided for children residing on-post who are attending an off-post school more than a mile from Keesler Air Force Base. Nearby communities include the cities of Gulfport and Ocean Springs where homes for sale and rent are available for new arrivals.
